World No. 9 Lorenzo Musetti has shared his thoughts on the current tennis landscape, addressing the dominance of top-ranked players Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
“They have proven it, especially Sinner this year — through his results and ranking position. Alcaraz won that one Grand Slam he was missing, then had to take a break due to injury. I think at the moment it’s true. Nobody — not even the best Zverev, who is closest to them and has been very consistent this year — can compare. Jannik [Sinner] is two or three steps ahead of everyone. We hope to get as close to them as possible, but for now we need to be realistic,” Musetti said in comments reported by Ubitennis.
