Paris Saint Germain edged past Stade Brest 1-0, moving six points clear of second-placed Lens, whom they face next. With just two Ligue 1 matches left, celebrations are already brewing in Paris. After overcoming Bayern and Stade Brest, PSG now set their sights on Lens and their 14th French league title.

On a rainy night in Paris, PSG hosted Stade Brest in Luis Enrique’s 100th Ligue 1 match in charge. Only Marquinhos and Fabián kept their spots from the second leg against Bayern. The midfield pair of Fabián and Dro started, with Mayulu stepping in for Achraf. The 19-year-old Frenchman delivered a brilliant performance both offensively and defensively. Renato Marin started in goal and was crucial in the first half.

PSG controlled the game from the outset, showcasing their characteristic fluidity. However, clear chances in front of goal took time to emerge. Fabián acted as the compass, while Dro provided the energy. The best opportunity fell to Fabián, who redirected a Beraldo shot wide from inside the box after controlling it.

Despite PSG’s dominance, Stade Brest created the clearest chances. The first came from a close-range effort by Le Guen, which Renato Marin blocked with his chest. Minutes later, Doumbia fed Ajorque, who let the ball run for Dino Ebimbe to attack from the right. The former PSG player fired a first-time shot, but Marin was again decisive.

In the second half, Luis Enrique brought on Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia, and João Neves. The changes injected fresh energy into PSG, but Mayulu remained the standout performer. The academy product hit the crossbar with a shot that rebounded off Coudert’s back and bounced on the ground. It looked like a potential ghost goal, but the ball stayed out.

The goal eventually arrived after a series of rebounds from PSG shots. Desiré Doué carved out space and placed the ball low and hard into the corner, leaving Coudert with no chance. PSG now have their sights firmly set on the title.
